If HG continued past mid-pregnancy, did you experience complications during delivery related to your poor health such as a strained ligaments/joints, pelvic floor damage, prolonged or weak pushing, fainting, low blood pressure, low pain tolerance, forceps/assisted delivery, broken bones, nerve damage, low amniotic fluid, fetal problems due to difficult delivery, etc.?

Often Tolerated Foods

This is very subjective, but for what its worth, the following are foods women report they ate the most of during the worst months. Meats seemed to be most often avoided during the first few months, except for an occasional craving.

  • Potatoes (baked or chips) & Rice
  • Cereal (dry or Chex Mix)
  • Citrus - lemon, grapefruit
  • Milkshakes
  • Melon & other fruits
  • Toast/Crackers  (esp. Saltines)
  • Cookies/cake/doughnuts
  • Cheese
  • Spicy food
  • Juices/Sparkling drinks
  • Popsicles
